At Apizeal, the security and confidentiality of our users' data is our top priority. As a technology company based in the USA, we have implemented new security layers to ensure the protection of all our clients' information. We use advanced measures and comply with strict data protection laws, following recognized standards such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
Starting September 3, two important changes will be implemented in our security policies:
1. Accounts with Real Names:
To validate the identity of our users and enhance security, accounts can no longer have generic names such as "processing1" or "office#3". All accounts must be registered with the first and last name of the individual account holder. This measure allows us to accurately identify each user and ensure that only authorized users have access to the platform.
What actions should you take now?
If your account has a generic name, make sure to change it before September 3, 2024, otherwise, your account will be deactivated and you will need to contact the Apizeal team at support@apizeal.com to verify your identity and request reactivation of the account.
2. Restriction of Duplicate Sessions:
To prevent unauthorized access and protect data integrity, logging in on more than one computer or in different locations at the same time will not be allowed. This restriction is a preventive measure to ensure that user sessions are unique and secure, reducing the risk of improper access.
We are committed to continually improving our security measures to provide you with a safe and reliable environment. These new policies reflect our ongoing effort to protect your information and maintain the highest security standards at Apizeal Software.
