Apizeal offers an automated functionality to assign commissions based on your policy records and the related transactions.
How Many Statuses Will You See in the Apizeal Commissions Module?
The Commissions Module in Apizeal has four (4) statuses for commissions or transactions being processed:
Pending
Approved
Not Assigned
Cancelled
What Does Each Status Mean in the Apizeal Commissions Module?
Pending: This status means the commission or transaction has not yet been approved, but it has not been denied either. It is awaiting an action, either approval or to be marked as not assigned.
Approved: The transaction or commission has been approved and will be paid to the agent accordingly.
Not Assigned: The commission or transaction could not be found in the payment report or statement (Excel mapping), and is therefore marked as not assigned, meaning it will not be paid to the agent.
Cancelled: This status applies when a health plan or policy is cancelled, but the associated payments or commissions for that cancelled policy are received late.
👀 Note: When a commission or transaction is neither approved nor denied and is awaiting action (approval or not assignment), the status may automatically be updated to Approved or Not Assigned once the system cross-references the uploaded Excel file for commission calculations.
It can also be updated manually to Approved or Not Assigned, as needed.
Quick Guide to Manually Change a Commission Status
Step 1: Go to the Commission Report list, where you will see the current status of each commission in the corresponding column. Each status is colour-coded for visual distinction.
Step 2: Use advanced filters to refine your search and find the specific status you're looking for with precision.
Step 3: Manually change the status in the "Actions" column by clicking the green check mark to approve (Approved) or clicking the "X" to mark it as not assigned (Not Assigned).
👀 Note: The Approved status can be modified and changed to Not Assigned in case of an error that needs to be corrected—and vice versa.
