How to create folders to organize policies

What are folders in Apizeal?

Folders are storage spaces that allow you to classify and organize policies according to your interests within your user account.

You can save as many policies as necessary in a folder to organize them into groups or categories, and you can create as many folders as you want.

We explain how to do it:

1. Go to the "Policies" section

From the main menu of Apizeal (left sidebar), find the "POLICIES" option and click to go to the screen that displays the policy list.

Once there, go to the submenu on the left side of the screen, and locate the titles "AGENCY FOLDERS" and/or "PERSONAL FOLDERS".

✏️ Note: the "AGENCY FOLDERS" option is visible only to users with an admin role and administrative staff at the agency.

What is the difference between "agency folders" and "personal folders"?

Personal folders are only visible to you, and you can only add policies that have been created under your user account.

On the other hand, agency folders are visible to administrative staff who work with you at Apizeal.

2. Click on "Manage"

To create a new folder, click on the "MANAGE" option located in the policies submenu.

3. Name the folder

Next, you will see the form titled "MANAGE FOLDERS". Write the name of the folder in the mandatory field "FOLDER NAME" and if you wish, write a description in the optional box "FOLDER DESCRIPTION".

Finally, click on the blue button "CREATE FOLDER", and that's it! You have created a new folder.

Now you may be wondering: how can I add policies to a folder?

It's very simple. Let us tell you the steps:

1. Select the policy list

From the policy list, select the policy or policies you want to add to the new folder.

When you select them, you will see a blue button in the top left corner of the screen that says "MOVE TO FOLDER".

💡 Tip: use and combine advanced search filters to select and add multiple policies to a folder at the same time.

Click on the "MOVE TO FOLDER" button, and then you will see a window opening. Simply select the folder you desire from the list and confirm your decision by clicking on the "SUBMIT" button.

How to remove a policy from a folder?

First, you must select the policy you want to remove. Then, click on the "MOVE TO FOLDER" button, and you will see a window open again. Select the option "REMOVE POLICIES FROM PERSONAL/AGENCY FOLDER" from the list, depending on the case, as shown in the image.

And done! The policy has been removed from the customized folder.
