When income is updated in Apizeal, whether from the contact, the policy, or directly within a family member’s information, the total sum of all members’ income may not match the amount previously saved in the policy dashboard. This difference creates a discrepancy in the system, indicating that the values need to be synchronized to keep the information properly aligned and up to date.
Step 1: View the current registered income
In the policy summary, you can view the annual income of both the applicant and their household in the main dashboard and in the “Family Members” section.
Step 2: Edit the applicant’s income
Click the "View" button in the family member row. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to edit the annual income field.
Step 3: Save the changes
After entering the updated income, click the "Submit" button to save the new value.
Step 4: Identify the discrepancy
Once submitted, Apizeal will detect a mismatch between the policy income and the family table total. A red icon will appear to signal this inconsistency.
Step 5: Sync the income values
Click the red icon to open the synchronization dialog. The system will ask for confirmation to align the values to match the correct sum of individual incomes.
Step 6: Synchronization confirmation
Click "Synchronize". The system will automatically update the household income, ensuring that it matches across both the policy and family group sections.
