Configuration of Customized Status Options
Depending on your access role in Apizeal, you can create your own custom statuses for managing the policies registered in your portal according to your needs.
You can assign any name to the status and also customize its color for easy identification.
To add a new custom status, follow the steps outlined below:
1. Access the Settings Menu
Go to the main menu on the left-hand side of your Apizeal dashboard and locate the last option labeled “SETTINGS.”
2. Open the Policy Statuses Section
A new screen will appear, displaying a submenu on the left-hand side. Select the option “STATUSES.”
3. Add a New Policy Status
You will then see a list of the available statuses. This is where you can customize the statuses for your policies. Click on the blue button labeled "+ ADD NEW" located at the top left corner.
A new window titled "ADD POLICY STATUS" will appear.
In the “TITLE” field, enter the word or short phrase you would like to use to name the new status. In the "COLOR" field, you can choose your preferred color to help distinguish the status you are creating.
Additionally, if you manage an agency, you can select whether your agents are allowed to use the new status you have created.
Next, click "SUBMIT" to save your changes.
4. Set Visibility Permissions for Agents
Depending on your access role in the Apizeal portal, you can decide whether the newly created status will be visible to agents registered under your agency. You can control this by using the "ENABLED FOR AGENTS?" column.
