What are folders in Apizeal?
Folders are storage spaces that allow you to classify and organize policies according to your preferences within your user account. You can save as many policies as needed in a single folder to group or categorize them, and you can create as many folders as you like.
We’ll guide you through the process:
1. Navigate to the Policies Section
From Apizeal’s main menu (left sidebar), locate the "POLICIES" option and click it to open the screen displaying your list of policies.
Once there, go to the submenu on the left side of the screen and locate the sections titled "AGENCY FOLDERS" and/or "PERSONAL FOLDERS".
Note: The "AGENCY FOLDERS" option is only visible to users with admin roles and administrative staff within the agency.
What is the difference between "agency folders" and "personal folders"?
Personal folders are only visible to you, and you can only add policies that have been created by your user account.
On the other hand, agency folders are visible to the administrative staff who work with you in Apizeal.
1. Access Folder Management
To create a new folder, click on the "CREATE" option located in the policies submenu.
2. Complete the Form and Create Your Folder
Next, you will see the form titled "CREATE A NEW FOLDER." Enter the name of the folder in the required field "FOLDER NAME" and, if you wish, add a description in the optional "FOLDER DESCRIPTION" box.
Finally, click the purple "SUBMIT" button, and that’s it! You’ve successfully created a new folder.
Now you may be wondering: How can I add policies to a folder? It’s very simple — here’s how:
1. How to Add Policies to a Folder
From the policies list, select the policy or policies you want to add to a folder.
Once selected, a blue button will appear in the upper-left corner of the screen labeled "MOVE TO FOLDER."
💡 Pro tip: Use and combine advanced search filters to select and add multiple policies to a folder at once.
Click on the "MOVE TO FOLDER" button, and a window will open. Simply select the folder you want from the list and confirm your choice by clicking the "SUBMIT" button.
How to Remove a Policy from a Folder
First, select the policy you wish to remove. Then, click on the "MOVE POLICIES TO" button, and a window will open once again.
From the list, select the option "REMOVE POLICIES FROM AGENCY/PERSONAL FOLDER", as applicable, just as shown in the image.
