Enable Automatic Credit Recharge in Apizeal

The automatic credit recharge feature has been released on Apizeal. This new tool is designed to ensure that messaging services (SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp) are not interrupted due to insufficient available credit.

What is it?

Users can define two key values:

  • Minimum credit balance: This is the threshold that, when reached or fallen below, will trigger the automatic recharge.

  • Auto-recharge amount: This is the amount that will be automatically charged to the account once the current balance is equal to or below the defined minimum.

This way, you can ensure that your campaigns, automations, or interactions continue running without disruption due to a lack of credit.


Step-by-step guide to activate auto-recharge

Step 1: Go to the "My Phones" section

From the left-hand menu under SMS / WhatsApp, click on My Phones. Here you will be able to manage the numbers assigned to you in Apizeal.

Step 2: Review the "Messaging Credit" section

Once inside "My Phones", locate the left panel titled Messaging Credit. From here, you can:

  • View the service status.

  • Check your current available credit.

  • Set your minimum credit balance.

  • Configure the auto-recharge amount.

Click the edit icon next to the field you want to update.

Step 3: Set minimum and recharge values

A popup window titled Automatic Credit for Service Use will appear.
In this window, you must complete the following required fields:

  • Auto-recharge amount: Define how much will be charged to your account when the recharge is triggered (minimum $10 USD).

  • Minimum credit: Define the balance that will trigger the recharge (minimum $10 USD).

Step 4: Accept system conditions

Before saving the configuration, you must accept the terms established by Apizeal for the use of automatic recharges. This step is mandatory and requires selecting the two available checkboxes:

  • First: Authorized automatic recharges: "I authorize automatic recharges to my account for the amount I define (minimum $10 USD) when the credit balance falls below the defined limit."

This option enables Apizeal to perform the recharge as soon as your balance equals or exceeds the defined minimum.

  • Second: Understanding risk of interruption: "I understand that if the system attempts to perform an automatic recharge and the payment method fails, the messaging service will stop when the balance reaches $0. I accept that this may interrupt active campaigns or automations until the account has available credit again."

This option is intended to warn that, if the recharge cannot be completed (e.g., due to a failed payment method), related services will pause until credit is restored.

Step 5: Save your settings

Once the values are defined and the options selected, click the Submit button to save your configuration.

Important notes

  • Both the minimum balance and the auto-recharge amount must be at least $10 USD each.

  • You can edit or disable this configuration at any time from the My Phones section.

  • This feature will only apply if a valid payment method is linked to your account.
